Floating Bookshelves

It’s a Tree! It’s a Shelf! It’s a Floating Children’s Bookshelf!

Happy Monday Everyone! And you know what that means… it’s For the Home Monday!

I’d like to start off the week with a cute inspiration for your child’s bedroom. As your kids grow up, mothers, you surely know that you will start to accumulate all types of gifts from your friends and family. These sure can pile up, with all the toys, games, stuffed animals, and the motivation for my post today, children’s books that you will receive through the years.

Here’s the DIY steps from Pepper Design Blog.

Some items you will be able to store away in the garage or a spare room, but the bedtime stories are difficult to leave anywhere else but your child’s bedroom. In my nephew’s case, he became attached to his books and will know if one were to somehow “disappear” in a storage box. There are many ways to display and store the seemingly endless number of children’s books in your child’s bedroom. You can decorate the traditional bookshelf using adorable children’s book ends like these.

Or, if you want to take it one step further, you can try incorporating floating shelves as the “branches” to tree wall decals.  This look can be set up in a corner of a room with a little table and chair…a place designated to read with your kids before bedtime.  Reading will never be the same! Modern, eye-popping, and easy to install, these floating bookshelves will definitely enhance your child’s bedroom as well organize your child’s books. Check it out ~
