4th of July Party Details

What are your plans for 4th of July?  Going to your local park to picnic?  Driving to the beach for a bonfire?  Watching a parade?  OR…are you planning to host a BBQ at home for family and friends?  Of course my choice would be to have a patriotic BBQ!  I love the colors, shapes, and all the decor ideas you can get creative with flags, banners, and stars!  Here are some ideas:

4th of july party ideas

1.  Cute snack ideas…licorice wrapped with blue patterned cardstock paper.

2.  Remember the Crayola Rainbow Jell-O I made?  Same concept, but with you only have to use red and blue jell-o mix then dollop some cool whip in the middle!

3.  Layer strawberries and blueberries with some cool whip and you got yourself a sweet and healthy treat!

4.  Get some paper lanterns from your local Party City ,put a clear glass inside and fill it with some white blooms or pretzel sticks inside!

5.   Ever since I did DIY pinwheels, I’ve been obsessed with them!  Get some fun patriotic pattered paper and stick them throughout the house.  Here is the template for it!

6.  Carnations in the shape of a flag…I love it with the vintage coca-cola wooden crate!

7.  Fill some red punch and blue kool-aid in these star ice cube molders to keep drinks cold and more fun!

8.  TOO cute, that’s all!

9.  A fun way to sneak fruit into your kids lunch.  White chocolate covered strawberries with tips of blue sugar!

10.  Fun and inexpensive decor.  Get red, white, and blue sand to make cool sand effects in glasses and candle holders.

11.  This can be another DIY project.  Make a red, white, and blue flag banner and use different patterns of fabric.

12.  Fun favors to give out!  Fill the bottom of the bag with blue candies, then stick some red and white licorice or candy sticks in and tie it with twine.
